McHappy Day is one of Australia’s largest annual fundraising events, which helps seriously ill children and their families by raising money for the many important programs at Ronald McDonald House Charities®.

In the past 17 years, money raised on McHappy Day has gone towards programs such as building and maintaining 12 Ronald McDonald Houses across the country, which provided a home-away-from-home for seriously ill children and their families; the expansion of the Ronald McDonald Learning Program to help children who have missed school through illness to catch up; the establishment of five Ronald McDonald Family Retreats; the creation of Ronald McDonald Family Rooms which provide a relaxing ‘homely retreat’ within a hospital and the Cord Blood Bank program.

Buy a Big Mac on McHappy Day and $1 from the sale of every Big Mac will go directly to helping seriously ill children and their families.

Here are additional ways to help:

• Buy our delicious, limited-edition RMHC Byron Bay Cookies at McCafé from November 5th to 15th and $2 will be donated to RMHC for every box sold.
• Buy a Happy Meal ‘Mighty Me, Mighty Us’ and 10 cents will be donated to RMHC for every meal sold.
• Buy a $2 wristband or crazy-straw (in WA only) in store from November 5th to 15th (available in all states except WA).
• Make a donation in the Ronald McDonald House Charities® Money Box.
• Donate online at www.rmhc.org.au.
